Kicking off 2021, CTAPP looks ahead to its first full cohort of Transformation Fellows. In anticipation of the inaugural cohort of Alternative Certification Programs (ACPs) in Summer 2021, we are hosting a series of informational webinars providing an overview of our technical assistance supports and teacher preparation model. The webinars will also lay out the processes and timelines for applying to the Transformation Fellowship.
CTAPP hosts its first webinar on February 16 at 10:00 AM (CST). This will also provide interested partners an opportunity to engage in Q&A with CTAPP's directors to learn more about the application and readiness assessment. If you're unable to make the initial webinar, we will host a second webinar covering the same topics on March 11 at 1:00 PM (CST). The third installment of our webinar series in April will focus on the Readiness Assessment and Application Timelines for interested partners. This webinar will provide an in-depth look at each section of the application, as well as tips and best practices for ensuring a successful submission. This webinar is tentatively scheduled for April 30, 2021, and RSVPs will open in March.

As we prepare to work with new ACP partners, CTAPP hopes to engage programs with a deep commitment to serving PK-12 students from historically underserved communities. Interested partners acknowledge the realities of our current education system and strive to better the quality of teacher preparation in order to improve and accelerate academic outcomes for all Texas students. We believe that by working together, then we can succeed together.
